Being pregnant doesn’t mean you have to stop exercising!
Millions of women around the world have discovered the numerous
benefits of practicing the Pilates method during and after pregnancy.
Because Pilates exercises are non-impact and focus on
the muscles of the lower abdominals and pelvic floor, many women find
practicing Pilates during their second and third trimesters of pregnancy
particularly beneficial.
After having a baby, the Pilates method is well known for effectively
repairing abdominal weakness or separation (diastasis recti) and
regaining a strong pelvic floor.
Our proven
Antenatal Pregnancy Programme is designed to strengthen and
stabilize from the inside out, perfect after the 14th week of
a well-established pregnancy.
The Antenatal Pregnancy Programme is practiced during our
regularly scheduled small group equipment studio sessions.
Class size is always limited to 4 clients working with 2
certified instructors, so you are guaranteed a 1:2 teacher-to-client
ratio in every session.
Each individual client is working on her own customised programme, so
clients are never expected to 'follow the group' or attempt something
that might be inappropriate or too strenuous.
Our
Postnatal
Pregnancy Programme is also practiced during small group equipment
studio sessions and focuses on strengthening the abdominal wall and
pelvic floor. 12 weeks
after natural childbirth or a caesarean section, certain movements from
the traditional Pilates repertoire should be avoided until the body has
had sufficient time to recover and repair.
Our Postnatal Pregnancy Programme is also catered to each
individual, allowing the client to work towards her specific goals in a
safe and controlled environment.
Small group equipment sessions don’t run in courses,
so you are free to start at anytime.
5 sessions in our classical Pilates equipment studio will cost
you £95 (that’s just £19 per session).
Once purchased, you are free to use these 5 sessions at your own
convenience... they don't expire until 3 full months after the purchase
date.
Those interested in either Antenatal or Postnatal
Pregnancy Programmes are welcome to join any of our regularly scheduled
small group equipment sessions after first attending an initial,
introductory private session with one of our instructors.
